As you have probably read from my boss's blog, neither he nor I speak officially for anything higher than ourselves, regardless of our uniformity or lack thereof.

Now that my wife and I are talking (not arguing) nightly we have agreed that when I am done with this deployment I will go active duty for the remainder of my contract. Who knows maybe longer depending on what we feel the lord is leading us to do at that time.


I plan to post a few comments and opinions on Ch Meier's blog shortly

Sleepless in Serbia

Well after many a sleepless night trying to talk and reconcile with my wife... Progress! she is calling me babe again (think its a good sign) and I don't think we are arguing (knocks on wood.)

just last night we where speaking and have both decided to seek counselors to help us get things out that we may have been bottling up and causing problems for our relationship.

Thank you all for your prayers (don't stop now) =D

Davey Jones Locker

Well for every one who has seen the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and knows the story behind the captain of the Flying Dutchman. He cuts out his own heart and locks it up and burries it because the woman he loved abandoned him.

That is more or less how I feel at this moment because after a fight that started 2 days ago my wife has decided divorce looks like the best/only option.

I'm completely shattered and typing this is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. I know I can be a complete idiot at times... Ok more often than not, but I still love her with all I am and all that I have!

Now that I'm completely broken God is the only one who can fix anything left of my life please pray for me and my wife.

sorry for falling off the map been spending a lot more time talking with the wife now that she has skype on her computer.

Some recent changes my self and SSG L swap jobs on the weekends now he gets to go to mass since he is Catholic and I go to the protestant service since I'm well protestant.

Prayers and Things

Just as my Chaplain asked on his blog for prayers, I ask the same for my young wife who is back at home. She is experiencing, aside from grief, an intense amount of stress while trying to get things squared away there. Since we have been married she has moved twice and is just now looking like she can settle down some.

My parents did us a huge favor and helped my wife car shop we found a 2001 Ford Focus with lowish miles and were able to pick it up for under $3k. That's one prayer request down!

I have been praying for my wife to be able to relax a little and for the stress to ease. The car should help now that she has a reliable mode of transportation.

And Please pray for everyone that Fr. Tim has mentioned as well.

Teh Babysitter!?

As you probably read in my Chaplain's blog the all knowing babysitter has been watching his every post! Being that he showed me this I now have Google Analytics so I can see when the babysitter is paying me a visit as well.

She may be watching me right now as I type this...

*looks over shoulder*

...but I don't care, what can she really do to me?
